My vet said to keep Sheba at home until she's had all her shots. But your class starts when puppies are 10 weeks old. Can you explain this to me? she's just turned 8 weeks old this weekend.

Sadly, many vets are still of the opinion that dogs will get sick and die from exposure to illnesses.  Unfortunately, the #1 reason dog die - be it the animal dropped off at a shelter, rehomed, dumped on a road somewhere - is from lack of socialization and training.

Millions of dogs are euthanized ("put to sleep" "killed" "destroyed") because they lack the ability to live with humans in a peaveful way due to missing training.
