All puppies visiting Camp Dobe are given lots of individual attention and tlc. Kenneling away from your puppy's familiar environment can be stressful, and I am mindful of keeping your puppy's boarding adventure positive, and above all, FUN!
I board a limited number of dogs ensure each puppy and dog gets the individualized attention it deserves.
* Your puppy should be 10 weeks old, have had its second set of vaccinations, be flea free, worm free and healthy.
* Your puppy should ideally be crate trained. I can assist your puppy to learn to love its crate!
* You, the owner, provide food, crate, medications, and other necessary equipment.
Recommended: A pre-boarding visit by your puppy is recomended before dropping your pup off for boarding. This is to ensure that your puppy is familiar with the new surroundings it will be suddenly living in, as well as your peace of mind so that you know that your furry friend will be in a comfortable home environment.
Open 7 days a week (excepting certain Holidays) 6.30am to 7pm
Every fifth boarding visit earns a 10% discount towards a future boarding!
Regular season Boarding rates:
1st dog $15.00 per calendar day each additional dog $10.00 per calendar day
High-Season Boarding rates:
(Christmas, Easter, Mardi Gras, Spring break, etc.)
1st dog $20.00 per calendar day
2nd dog $15.00 per calendar day, each additional dog $10.00 per calendar day
NEW! 20-minute On-Leash Training Walk $15.00
* Pick-up fee to and from your home or veterinarian $20.00, Mobile area.+
* Veterinarian visit for your puppy to get vaccinations etc. $20.00, Mobile area.+
* Flea treatment upon discovery of fleas $20.00 (Comfortis)
* Ear cleaning $5.00
* Nail clipping/grinding $5.00
* Brushing/de-shedding $5.00 to 12.00 depending on coat type
(+Additional mileage may apply.)
Included:
* Numerous off-leash romps every day on six-foot-fenced grass.
* Your puppy will sleep safely in its crate in my bedroom, den, or office.
* Lots of loving and one-on-one time with me.
* Manners while at my home (wait before meals, not jumping on people, etc.)
* Fun and gentle play time with other dogs.
* nap-time with cookies :-)
* An occasional field trip to a pet store, the park, or a leashed walk on the looong drivevway to the mailbox is also a possibility for your puppy!
No extra charge for:
* Handfeeding for puppies on NILIF/Say Please Programs.
* Stuffing your puppy's Kongs and other food puzzle toys.
* Meal preparation for puppies on specialized diets such as BARF (raw diet) etc.
* Giving medications.
* Getting up at 12 midnight, 2 am, and 4 a.m to let your puppy out to potty!
